I never imagined I’d find myself living alone in the second part of my life. Divorced with a nest empty of the kids who’ve grown up and embarked on their own adventures in adulthood.

What was I going to do?

Whenever the question of what I’d love to do with my life came up, (you know, the ‘if money were no object’ nugget), my answer was always the same; write and travel.

That same question morphed into one of why. Why couldn’t I live that lifestyle now? Why not have a home I could travel in? Why not escape the norms of socially acceptable living in search of something different, something fulfilling, something exciting?

So here I am, solo female, fiercely protective of my personal peace, self-scripting my second chapter reinvention and documenting it in the hope that by shining a light on the steps I’m taking to live my dream, I might inspire others to take a leap into their own epic life changes too!
